Imagine retains full rights to use any images taken on events resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media and mail-outs.
Participants reserve the right to request Imagine to not use specific media content on a case-by-case basis.

Once you’ve completed the sign up form (if paying via bank transfer) you have 7 days in which to complete and confirm payment, before our booking system will automatically cancel the registration.
Once payment has been confirmed your place on the trip is set, you will then receive a welcome email containing the trip itinerary and detailed packing list. Please double check your personal details are correct, email is our primary mode of communication.
Each booking carries a fixed NT1000 / US$30 Registration Fee that is non-refundable. Once you are signed up and paid this fee is not subject to refunds. This fee covers the initial planning and preparation for the experience as well as the registration administration costs.
In the rare case that Imagine-Taiwan must postpone or cancel a trip due to typhoons or other circumstances out of our control, you can choose to use your fees (trip cost including registration fee) as credit for a later trip. If you still require a refund, 100% refund of trip cost minus registration fee will be provided.
In the event of rain and/or wind, please note the trip will continue as planned but the scope of the activities may change slightly. If we decide for safety reasons the trip is unable to go ahead, 100% refund of trip costs will be provided.
Once permits have been applied for, which is usually between 30 – 60 days before the trip (please check details for specific trips), 20% of the full trip amount can be refunded if you want to cancel. Once permits have been applied for, trips are non-transferable.
– Cancellation 30 days before permit application: 100% refund of trip costs or trip credit
– Cancellation 15 – 29 days before permit application: 80% refund of trip costs or trip credit

– Cancellation 1 – 13 days before permit application: 30% refund of trip costs
– Cancellation on or after permit application day: 20% refund of trip costs

Exceptions to our cancellation policy can not be made for any reason, including weather, civil unrest, natural disasters or personal, family and medical emergencies. In all cases, we will not be responsible for any personal expenses incurred such as airline tickets, hotels or car rentals.
