Young Ecologists
Why do kids love Pokémon? It’s the thrill of exploration, collecting unique creatures, and embarking on wild adventures. At Imagine’s Young Ecologists camp in Taiwan, kids can channel that same passion into the real world by discovering vibrant birdlife, diverse marine ecosystems, and hands-on survival skills. From spotting Kingfishers and Blue Magpies to creating art inspired by nature, this camp fosters a deep appreciation for wildlife while building confidence and mindfulness. Shei-Pa National Park’s Snow Sword Trail / 雪劍線
In October 2020, Team Imagine took on the rugged Snow Sword trail in Shei-Pa National Park, Taiwan, a challenging route that starts from the summit of Snow Mountain (3886m), Taiwan’s second-highest peak. Over five days, we summited four of Taiwan’s famous “100 Peaks” (Baiyue) while navigating steep ridgelines, technical rope sections, and encountering wildlife like Sambar deer and Formosan Macaques. Our adventure took us to exposed peaks like Dajianshan (3,594m), where we braved thunderstorms and camped under the stars at Cui Pond (3,520m). This remote hike demanded careful planning, resilience, and respect for Taiwan’s mountainous wilderness.
TES German School Trip
In November, students from Taipei European School’s German Section embarked on an unforgettable week of camping and outdoor adventure in Taiwan. The trip included high-wire challenges, nature education at Guandu Bird Park, and hands-on environmental activities like invasive species removal. Students also developed teamwork and leadership skills during the Civilisation Game, building shelters and learning survival techniques. A nature hike along Taiwan’s scenic east coast rounded off the week. This experiential school trip not only boosted confidence and life skills but also encouraged a deeper connection with nature and the environment.

Imagine’s 2019 Autumn Camp in Taiwan offered an immersive, nature-focused adventure designed to build confidence and resilience in young participants. Through activities like forest bathing, tree climbing, high ropes, snorkeling, and night hikes, children gained valuable ecological insights and hands-on experience in habitat restoration and environmental stewardship. Parkour Training In Schools
Parkour is more than just a sport—it’s a discipline that teaches students how to overcome obstacles, both physical and metaphorical. Through balancing, jumping, vaulting, and rolling, kids build strength, agility, and confidence.

Spring Camp 2019 ~ A week of adventure!
This action-packed Spring Camp 2019 brought kids face-to-face with thrilling outdoor experiences across Taiwan’s breathtaking landscapes. From survival training and civilisation games to rafting, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and themed hikes, every day was filled with excitement and learning. Campers honed their creativity with bamboo irrigation systems, embraced teamwork during raft-building, and overcame fears in climbing challenges.
Whether exploring bamboo-filled trails or conquering waves at the beach, the camp inspired kids to connect with nature, build confidence, and enjoy the freedom of the great outdoors. A spring adventure to remember!
Hainan Island
Imagine and Recognize Academy joined forces for an unforgettable week on Hainan Island, China’s tropical paradise. With students aged 5-15, this adventure blended fun, learning, and environmental awareness. Activities included surfing, beach parkour, SUP, coconut tree climbing, survival training, and team-building games, all set against a backdrop of sandy beaches and lush vegetation.
Campers caught their first waves, built swings, and cycled through Hainan’s stunning scenery. The trip culminated with a yacht voyage to a remote island for a survival challenge and an inspiring environmental cleanup. Despite unexpected rain, the children left with lasting memories, new skills, and a shared commitment to protecting our planet.
