Adventure Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and skilled Adventure Project Manager to work with our small but mighty team to drive our outdoor experience company’s growth and operational excellence. This role combines project management, sales, and on-ground leadership in Taiwan’s dynamic outdoor adventure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute new business initiatives, generating sales and expanding our client base
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for outdoor adventures, from initial concept to final execution
- Lead outdoor experiences for diverse groups, ensuring safety, engagement, and high-quality customer experiences
- Collaborate with team members to plan, coordinate, and deliver innovative programs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including trip planning, client communications, and performance tracking
- Actively participate in business development, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in outdoor or experiential sectors
- Strong familiarity with Taiwan’s outdoor locations and adventure landscape
- Excellent computer skills (proficient in working on an online shared workspace and creating quality documents / peresentations)
- Basic conversational Chinese language skills (useful but not essential)
- First Aid/CPR certification or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Arrangement

The Role
What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging outdoor adventures including SUP, hiking, camping, and water sports
- Create a fun, safe environment where kids can challenge themselves and grow
- Have a strong sense of timing and an ability to lead a group from one activity to the next seamlessly
- Build positive relationships with both campers and parents (professional when needed, playful when appropriate!)
- Mentor, support, and coordinate a small team of 2-3 assistant instructors and/or volunteers
- Adapt quickly to wear a variety of hats as needed throughout the summer
- Plan and execute activities/games during camp that align with our camp philosophy and goals
- Maintain a safe and organized camp environment, ensuring that all campers follow camp rules and regulations
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

The Role
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Support Coach to join our adventure team this summer. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Lead Instructors to ensure our campers have safe, fun, and memorable outdoor experiences. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with children and have a passion for the outdoors, but may be earlier in their leadership journey. You will work with us during our peak summer camp season with the opportunity to grow into more responsibilities and potentially extend into a longer-term role.
What You’ll Do
- Assist Lead Instructors in facilitating outdoor adventures including SUP, hiking, camping, and water sports
- Help create a positive, engaging atmosphere where children feel safe to try new things
- Build genuine connections with campers and help them navigate challenges
- Provide additional supervision during activities and transitions
- Support with equipment setup, activity preparation, and cleanup
- Help implement games and activities that reinforce our camp’s educational goals
- Ensure campers follow safety guidelines and camp rules
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Step in to help wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities
