Seeds of Discovery: From Nature’s Touch to Ocean Adventure
This two-day trip is designed to challenge students to step outside their comfort zones, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a deeper connection to Taiwan’s natural environment through a series of hands-on, problem-solving adventures
Program Highlights
We believe the best learning happens beyond the classroom. This trip combines nature exploration, teamwork challenges, and cultural immersion to help students grow in confidence, resilience, and social-emotional skills.
Team Strategy & Icebreaker Games
To help students settle in and build connections, we'll kick off with a series of fun team strategy and icebreaker games. These lighthearted, problem-solving challenges are designed to break the ice and get everyone comfortable working together.
5-Senses Nature
Scavenger Hunt
Students will be divided into small teams to explore an organic garden on a "five senses mission," using sight, smell, taste, and touch to identify and collect seasonal plants. The experience culminates in a hands-on cooking challenge where teams will make a dish, blending teamwork, creativity, and a taste of Taiwanese countryside life.
Night Walk / Campfire
As the sun sets, students will head out on a guided night walk to discover the farm after dark. With flashlights in hand, they’ll learn about nocturnal wildlife and experience the magic of Taiwan’s rural landscape at night in a safe and fun way.
Raft Building
Students will put their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to the test as they construct a seaworthy raft using only bamboo, rope, and saws. Working in small groups, each team will design, build, and launch their own vessel before racing across the water. Beyond the fun, students will learn the importance of communication, collaboration, and resilience.

Our trips offer kids an opportunity to build on their past experiences and open their world to new possibilities that they can confidently strive for. For young people, experiences are valuable opportunities for expanding their knowledge and testing their abilities. They are also an excellent environment for trial and error where a safe space is provided for learners to make mistakes and refine their approaches to problem solving.
When presented with a problem in an experiential setting, people draw from a range of dynamic abilities: memory, coordination, reflexes, critical thinking, teamwork and creativity. The outcome of the experience results in greater confidence and ability the next time a challenge arises.

SDG 4: Quality Education
The trip combines teamwork, cultural immersion, and outdoor learning into a rich educational experience. From taking on group roles in the farm scavenger hunt to solving challenges in raftbuilding, students practice collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity. It’s a form of quality education that extends far beyond the classroom.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Students learn where their food comes from by planting rice, harvesting organic vegetables, and cooking colorful rainbow rice balls. These hands-on activities show the value of seasonal farming, local ingredients, and reducing waste — helping students understand how everyday choices connect to global sustainability.
SDG 13: Climate Action
Through learning about sustainable agriculture, participating in guided night walks, and doing eco-friendly crafts, students experience and understand more deeply the beauty and fragility of Taiwan’s natural environment. These activities encourage awareness of climate change and inspire students to take responsibility for protecting ecosystems in their daily lives.
