Nestled in the mountains of Eastern Taiwan, This lake is a breathtaking hidden gem waiting to be explored. Over Chinese New Year, we embarked on a 3-day expedition to uncover its beauty and ventured deeper into the rugged trails of the surrounding wilderness.
This remote destination offers a rare sense of solitude, with untouched landscapes and serene trails where you might not see another soul for days. Songluo Lake is a testament to Taiwan’s wild and unspoiled natural beauty—a perfect getaway for adventurers seeking tranquility and challenge.
European school Civilisation Game
Students from the German section of Taipei European School had a fantastic spring day in Yangmingshan playing the Civilisation Game. Divided into two groups with different resources, they worked creatively to build shelters, tables, hammocks, and even entrances, using skills taught by their coaches.
The day ended with each group presenting their “civilisation,” sharing ideas, and discussing strategies for trade and organisation. This fun and innovative forest adventure encouraged teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, leaving everyone inspired by what they had built together.
