DASH is a puzzle hunt in which teams of 3 to 5 players solve puzzles in a friendly competition. As each puzzle is solved, more of the hunt’s ongoing story is revealed, and teams receive directions to walk to another nearby location for the next puzzle.

A “puzzle” has a few cryptic instructions, and often has elements like a list of crossword clues, a bunch of strange images, or a string of numbers and letters. If you’d like some examples, the FAQ has some puzzles from prior DASH events.

DASH 12 will have 9 puzzles; we expect most teams will spend 6-8 hours and cover 3-5 km during the event. The exact route and start time are being finalized, but it will be in Taipei City and start between 9-10am.
